This had been my observation that a planet does not give satisfactory result or, sometimes even give negative result to the sign it owns when it has moved over from that sign and approaching or, occupying in the second sign it owns. The planet will give positive or, assertive result to the sign it rules if it is approaching that or, occupying! When the planet is exalted or, debilitated, the result varies accordingly for sure. ***Applicable to planets who own two signs except Saturn. [Mars, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter]. Moon and Sun rules only one sign. Rahu-Ketu home-less.

Example: Suppose in a natal horoscope, Lagna/Ascendant is Taurus and Venus is in Jemini. Then one should expect that Venus will do good to the sixth house of the native but same amount of beneficial matters won't be there for the lagna. The native will be succesfull in sorting out enemies, become succesfull literate person with aristocracy and social upliftment, may be a profound artiste and so on...but will have chronic ENT problem through out his life. If Mercury crossed jemini and within virgo path and Mars crossed aries and within Scorpio path, than the native will have difficulties in admin matters and cash flow for through out his life. He will conquer and create enemies one after another.
