Sentiments, egos [Mai, mera, Mere sath….means sub-merged in the ocean of myself/me/possessiveness] obscures our wisdom and doesn’t allow in sukh-bhava to come in from front door, so we get stuck in a state of mind and not able to move further ahead because? The front door is closed….. Whenever we think about us, it starts rewinding all past memories and lets in the dukh-bhava from hind-door. Conciously thwart away the dukh-bhava…for that we have to forget about our own ego/sentiment consciously. XYZ ke sath bhi aisahi kuchh horaha hai jo apke sath hota hai. He is also thinking like he had been all through out given disappointment. I am sure he will have his set of issues to tell when he interacts with me!
